I'm cutting down a branch that was in the way of putting the trusses up. We evetually had to remove this entire black walnut tree when we learned that the sap it shed would damage the metal roof. May 14 2004

This is the only building remaining from the old homestead. We call it the old shed, but it was the chicken house. It is still amazingly sound and we have no qualms about using it for storage. February 04 2008

Removing the tools and construction materials,cleaning the floor and windows, and moving some furniture in, for sister Carrie's visit, really gave us a sense of what it is going to feel like to live in this space. And it feels good. February 05 2008
